Why did my connection drop?

Understand why Jaeger occasionally disconnects, and why it's a brilliant security feature.

You logged into Jaeger and saw a red warning banner: "LinkedIn Disconnected". Don't panic. Nothing is broken.

It's not a bug, it's a shield.

LinkedIn has incredibly strict security measures to protect your account from hackers. Every few months, or whenever they detect a major change (like a password reset or logging in from a new country), they automatically expire all existing "Passports" (your li_at cookie).

Common Triggers

  • You manually clicked "Sign Out" on LinkedIn.com.
  • You changed your LinkedIn password.
  • LinkedIn performed a routine security rotation (happens every 2-3 months).

How to fix it

It takes literally 30 seconds. Just go grab a fresh li_at key (see our Secret Key guide) and paste it back into your Identity settings. Jaeger will instantly resume all paused campaigns exactly where they left off.
