The Secret Key (li_at)
Connect LinkedIn manually in 30 seconds without the Chrome Extension.
The Chrome Extension is a great co-pilot, but it's completely optional. You can connect Jaeger directly to your LinkedIn using your secret li_at key.
What is the li_at key?
Think of it as your LinkedIn passport. It's a small piece of text (a cookie) that proves to Jaeger that you are securely logged into your LinkedIn account.
How to find it in 30 seconds
- Open Google Chrome and go to your LinkedIn homepage.
- Right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect (Welcome to the Matrix ๐งโ๐ป).
- In the developer panel that opens, click on the Application tab at the top.

If you don't see it, click the little >> arrows to reveal hidden tabs.
- On the left sidebar, under Storage, expand Cookies and click on
https://www.linkedin.com. - In the table, look for the row named
li_at. Double-click its Value, copy it, and paste it into Jaeger.
Is it safe?
Absolutely. This key never leaves our encrypted vault, and Jaeger only uses it to perform actions on your behalf (like sending messages or fetching your inbox). If you ever want to revoke Jaeger's access, simply log out of LinkedIn on your computerโyour passport will instantly expire!
